About the Artist

Born in the Seychelles in 1965 Harry Brioche enjoyed a bright childhood growing up on the island of Mahe. It wasn’t until 1980 that the artist moved to England and settled in Manchester with his now wife and two children. Harry considers himself a self-taught artist despite attending Maidstone College of Art. Following an ultimatum by his college lecturers to conform with the institution’s style and methods of painting or leave, he ultimately decided to go it alone.
