Chloe Elliott

Chloe Elliott is a Cornwall-based artist whose work is deeply inspired by the rugged beauty and shifting

moods of the Cornish coast. Initially studying a Foundation degree at Kingston University London,

Chloe later followed her natural affinity for the ocean to Falmouth University, where she completed a BA (Hons) in

Illustration.

Her artistic practice is shaped by her surroundings, with the textures, colours, and rhythms of the coastline

serving as a constant influence. While rooted in landscape and coastal themes,

Chloe has more recently

turned her focus to still life, where she explores the quiet interplay between object, space, and emotion.

Through the use of muted tones and layered paint, her compositions evoke a sense of timelessness and

calm.

Chloe’s process is intuitive and reflective, driven by a sensitivity to form, scale, texture, and surface. Working

with a restrained colour palette and a range of materials—including acrylic, oil, and wax—she creates

contemplative works that invite the viewer into a serene, introspective space.

Her still life paintings are more than visual arrangements; they are meditations on presence, emotion, and the subtle beauty found in the

everyday.
